Fleet Feet Foot Class

Is once a month too much to ask to give your feet some good lovin’?

Our feet support us all day long, yet they are often the most neglected part of ourselves. They get stuffed into uncomfortable shoes for most of the day, and don’t get to relax until you go to bed. What we don’t often know is that feet are key to a long life of healthy mobility. For example, these highly developed, biomechanically complex structures deal with impact forces many times our body weight daily just to walk.

Learn how healthy feet are the foundation to a healthy body, and how to correct misalignments to reduce pain in the feet, knees and even the back.
This course is suitable for all bodies, ages, and levels of knowledge.

NOTE: This class is donation based, and all money received will be given to the local non-profit Waking the Village

Six Saturdays Starting March 10th at 11:00AM - 12:00 PM
Sliding Scale $120-150

The sling of muscles at the bottom of the pelvis -  or the pelvic floor  -  are often overlooked, but they are a very important piece of a woman’s full-body health. A small amount of knowledge about your pelvic floor is empowering and gives you more control over your life.  

This class debunks common assumptions about the pelvic floor and women’s health (no, leaking pee or painful intercourse are not just part of “being a woman”) and teaches simple exercises and breathing techniques so you can fully embody your pelvis. Over six weeks you will experience changes in your back and pelvis (migraines can even have their root in the pelvis), reduce or eliminate leaking or urgency, and have a much deeper understanding of your body. The pelvic floor holds many keys to unlocking the full potential of your body and your presence; this class will give you these keys!

This particular course is for women only, and open any levels of experience or knowledge.

What you will take away from this course:

  •  A large variety of exercises that support not only your pelvic floor, but your lower back health
  • A personalized program that fits exactly your needs, as well as the tools to learn how to change that program as your needs change
  • A greater understanding of how problems arise and the simple solutions to change or stop them before they begin
  • 6 weeks of support to keep you moving forward and excited about, lets face it, something not that glamorous, but one of the most important things you can do for your health!

This series is dedicated to learning and feeling posture from the inside out. Good posture - and all its pain-free, healthy benefits -  can come easily and quickly by learning how to embody the fullness of you.

Ever wonder how a plant is able to be upright with no bones? Rather than hang themselves on a skeleton, they are supported by their inside structures. We, too, rely on this mechanism to support us. To know how our whole body is engaged in posture each class breaks down an area of the body and teaches you to feel how your internal parts are integrated into the whole - for better or for worse!  When you feel posture from the inside out, you are not only creating good alignment, but you are creating the stage for healthy organs and a more vital you.

Attend individual - $30 per class, $75 for all three:

Kidneys and Gravity: November 4th, 1PM-2:30PM

Lungs and Shoulders: November 11th, 1PM-2:30PM

Liver, Stomach, Intestines and Vitality: November 18th, 1PM-2:30PM
